About Time

You have enough time, you really do!

Time to do all you want, love all whom you will.

Don't say hyperbole, that my meaning is nil.

Say “True for most people, most times; I heard it from a wisdom shill.”

Time knows you, even if you do not know time.
He told me in inscrutable tones,
when I forbade him from claiming your bones.

He sees you when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake.
Right now he wants us to be dancing till midnight and swiftly baking a cake.

Is time eternal? Yes, for the rocks, the sand and all their low-cost burial plans
But who cares about them and their endless demands?

I care just about you. And me. And the late-life tour guide we must hire.

The rocks can go bury themselves.
Or build a mountain made out of finest entropy.

Just leave us a sweet view -- elegant vistas for you and me.
