Ariadne in Elkin

This short play (35 minutes) tells of a relationship between a modern man and woman, who are meeting for a second date at a food coop in Elkins Park, PA.  His attention span is not what it should be for a nascent love affair.  Two interlopers join them. 

Classic themes are woven into the story, but do not expect a classic drama about Ariadne and Theseus. Rather the theme is hinted at.  Also woven in is the story of Demeter, Persephone and Hades.
