Noche Flamenca - This was a fabulous evening of vibrant, passionate, dancing by supremely talented performers.

Soledad Barrio in particular seems to empbody the Flamenco spirit.

The ensemble held the crowd rapt at Philadelphia Kimmel Center's Perelman Theater on that evening in July, 2002. The intense guitar music and melismatic singing added to the intoxicating atmosphere.

None of the dancers smiled until the encore. This makes sense, as the dace is serious, intense and spirited.
